Update

Since the last blog there's been plenty happening!
Australia lost to Brazil and drew in their final first round match against Croatia to go through to the next round! It's been so exciting! I'm not sure if it is just because Australia are in the world cup or if it's just because I'm not in the country but I've been finding myself becoming more patriotic by the day! I LOVE AUSTRALIA!
Sez and I have been doing the same thing - working. Trying to get enough cash together for our trip is proving difficult with London living always asking for more but we are looking forward to our trip around Europe and looking forward to seeing mum and dad!
We've got a couple of mini trips planned before we begin the Bolton Euro Tour 2006 one of which is heading down to Newquay and staying with my good friends from work. They recently moved down there to get closer to the coast. I'm hanging out to go for a surf! Haven't been for 7 months now!
This weekend just gone Sarah and I went to stay with Justin and Simone in Wokingham.
It was so nice to get out of the city and into some english countryside.
On Saturday we went for a walk and enjoyed the sunshine. I bought an Arobie (hardcore frisby) on the thursday so we were throwing that about.
In the arvo we went to Windsor Castle where the Queen lives and we saw her! Sarah was very excited!
That night we went out for tea at Justin & Simone's pub.
On sunday we visited Oxford and went punting on the river after a BBQ in the park.
I have some sad, sad news also. After having so much fun, we lost the Aerobie! We were all shattered.

The Ultimate Football Fever!!!

The British go ballistic about their football. Its a national religion!

Although, I must say ...

C'MON AUSSIES, C'MON!
They know how to play "proper" football.

3 goals in the last 10 mins? Thats world cup class football.

Anyway, the football has literally taken over this country. There are English flags everywhere, hanging out of windows, on window, on the sides of peoples cars, on the roof of cars and theres merchdise everywhere in the shops!

The news headlines, is Gerrard in? Is he out, what about Rooney? A win to England!

They even release a World Cup Anthem for their team every world cup.

Its amazing. The whole country is buzzing. Its very exciting. Every pub has sky sports ready for their customers. People are having world cup BBQ's and parties - it's hot over here, 31 degrees today, I didnt think England got this hot.

I've got a funny photo of an obsessed fan which i will try to put on here for you soon, so check back maybe tomorrow if I get time.

It would be sooooo lovley if Australia beat England, here's hopin'!
