The British Museum

The British Museum
The oldest museum in the world (so they say)
Some of the oldest things I have ever seen
Here's some pictures for those of you who may never visit
There's a lot more than just mummies, however...

A Seaside Holiday

On the 4th of August Corey and I headed for the seaside town of Newquay, Cornwall.

It was a bit of a drawn out journey to get there - we caught at 9pm bus from London to Exeter, arriving at 1am, then slept in the train station waiting room till our train at 7:30am.

The train ride to Newquay was georgous, lovely scenery the whole way there. We stayed with our friends (previously worked at Oneill with Corey) in there flat, Joe (UK) and Tahnee (Aus).

Newquay is meant to be the best surf spot on England. There wasnt much surf while we were there. What there was, however, was the Ripculr Pro Surf Competition, so the place was packed. It finished on the Sunday. We arrived on Saturday and left on Monday.

We pretty much just went to the beach while we were there. I swam for the first time in over 12 months and Corey had his first surf in 9 months - he didn't bring his board all this way for nothing! The water was cold, but no colder than our water at the beginning of summer (or so it seemed). Couldn't stay in there too long. The weather wasnt very hot. But lovely and sunny, about 25 degrees.

We have more photos. We may put some more up if get a chance.
