Spain: Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid

Hmmm...,Barcelona. Spain
This is one of the many strange buildings around Barcelona by the architect Gaudi from the late 1800's. Some of his buildings are still being finished.
There is always plenty of things going on at the markets.
The street performers on La Rambla, Barcelona were everywhere. This guy was a bit creepy though. He was hiding under the cot and when people put money in her would carry on like a screaming baby. Bit weird but drew the crowds.

The catholics believe this is the holy grail. The cup that Jesus passed around at the last supper.
A fountain that we sat and watched after we had tea on our 3rd wedding anniversary.
This is the lovely beach we laid all day on...
Crazy Bull - 1, Matador - 0
The Tapas Bar we found. This bar had all these bulls heads nailed on the wall. There was also heaps of pictures of matadors getting nailed by the bulls. It was crazy! Some pretty gruesome shots as you can see from the one above.
This is a couple of Spanich guys we started talking to in the Tapas bar. We spent over 2 hours with them and not one of us could understand each other. We somehow managed though. It was such a fun night with them. We only stayed on night in Madrid but I think hanging out with these two and meeting the people in the next picture made it one of our favourite cities.
After we came out of the Tapas bar that had the bulls we came across a group of Christian Spaniards who were singing out in the square. They were nice enough to give us some contact to call up when we go to Israel. The Tshirt on the guy on the right was what brought up the topic of Israel. The Tshirt says 'pray for the peace of Jerusalem' in spanish.

Pics of Nice & Lauterbrunnen

We stopped over for one night in Nice, which is on the French Riviera. We went for a walk down to the Med. Sea on sunset...

This is my beautiful wife...

On our second day in Lauterbrunnen we did a massive hike up a mountain. It wasn't the highest peak but the view was unbelievable. Here's some shots of what we saw...

Canned corn and packet pasta...yum
Base jumper. We saw 2 jump. They had special suits on that had wings and allowed them to glide away from the cliff and stay in the air longer. So cool.
