The Ashes 2006...Too Good!
Well, all reports over here tell us that Australia are victorious and have won the Ashes back to where they belong! It has been quite strange being over here in England while all this has been going on.
When we first arrived, they had only recently won the Ashes for the first time in like 15 years and didn't we cop it from the Poms when we got here. Every second one of them I talked to gave it to me about them winning the Ashes.
Now this time round it wasn't even a contest! The Poms are so bitter about it. They hate the fact that we beat them at everything. We're loving being here now that we've got them back. They hate it! I'm not usually one to gloat in these situations but I love my country and I'm proud of it.
Go Aussies!
Anyway, here are some photos I took of some of the articles that have come up in the English newspapers now that the Ashes are well and truly lost to them. As I said before, they absolutely hate it...enjoy!
