Christmas is nearly here (Bah Hummbug) ...
We can't believe that there is only just over 1 week until Christmas! It has snuck up on us so quickly and it doesn't feel like Christmas for us.
We've been working flat out and haven't really had a chance to do much else. It will pass us by unoticed this year compared to last when we shared our white Christmas with family. Such a great time!
This year we are working on Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing day, so please try to remember us as we'll be serving Christmas lunch instead of eating it and sharing it with strangers and other staff instead of with family and friends! It's sad when we think about it, but it doesnt feel like Christmas, so its easily forgotten.
Oh well...
Anyway, the countdown is on until we leave our job here and also the UK for our time in Israel! We've booked the flights and we fly out on the Feb 14th.
We arrive at 5am in the morning in Tel Aviv which will be interesting. We're both really excited about it because we've talked about going to Israel for a while now and we know it is going to be one of the best things we've ever done and ever do.
If we don't hear from anyone before, we hope you all have a very happy Christmas wherever you are and all the best for 2007.
We love you all and miss you all very much. Hope to see you sometime next year maybe.

Hey guys,
The country looks beautiful, can't wait to see some of it..
hope you are both well and earning lots of money for your trip.
A girl i worked with at Burberry wrote me a travel prayer in hebrew so remind me to copy it for you!
Miss you a lot and hope i get to see you before you leave, come stay with me and meet simon :)
love you
Hopefully it's not that bad - at least you've set your expectations low. You might find that one day, maybe in the not too distant future, you'll remember the experience of this Christmas fondly. At least you'll have a good travel story.
Well coming from the Christmas queen, its a little sad that your Christmas will go un noticed. Its the most wonderful time of the year. Well Ben and I think so anyway. Well we cant wait to see you in April is it??? Looks so good there. Its going to be so cold though. Miss you heaps.
