Winter Is Here...
The last couple of days has let us know that winter is definately here. It has been so so cold. A massive fog has hit England and has dramatically dropped temperatures and has also grounded heaps of flights in and out of London.
It was as cold as -4 here yesterday. Here are some shots of the effect of the cold weather! I know Alan and Simone will be particularly excited to see the lovely cold weather here!

The Ashes 2006...Too Good!
Well, all reports over here tell us that Australia are victorious and have won the Ashes back to where they belong! It has been quite strange being over here in England while all this has been going on.
When we first arrived, they had only recently won the Ashes for the first time in like 15 years and didn't we cop it from the Poms when we got here. Every second one of them I talked to gave it to me about them winning the Ashes.
Now this time round it wasn't even a contest! The Poms are so bitter about it. They hate the fact that we beat them at everything. We're loving being here now that we've got them back. They hate it! I'm not usually one to gloat in these situations but I love my country and I'm proud of it.
Go Aussies!
Anyway, here are some photos I took of some of the articles that have come up in the English newspapers now that the Ashes are well and truly lost to them. As I said before, they absolutely hate it...enjoy!

Christmas is nearly here (Bah Hummbug) ...
We can't believe that there is only just over 1 week until Christmas!
It has snuck up on us so quickly and it doesn't feel like Christmas for us.
We've been working flat out and haven't really had a chance to do much else. It will pass us by unoticed this year compared to last when we shared our white Christmas with family. Such a great time!
This year we are working on Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing day, so please try to remember us as we'll be serving Christmas lunch instead of eating it and sharing it with strangers and other staff instead of with family and friends! It's sad when we think about it, but it doesnt feel like Christmas, so its easily forgotten.
Oh well...
Anyway, the countdown is on until we leave our job here and also the UK for our time in Israel! We've booked the flights and we fly out on the Feb 14th.
We arrive at 5am in the morning in Tel Aviv which will be interesting. We're both really excited about it because we've talked about going to Israel for a while now and we know it is going to be one of the best things we've ever done and ever do.
If we don't hear from anyone before, we hope you all have a very happy Christmas wherever you are and all the best for 2007.
We love you all and miss you all very much. Hope to see you sometime next year maybe.
Shalom, Corey & Sarah

Extra Photos

Here are some photos from the past couple of months since we got back from Europe. They've been sitting in our camera and we just realised we haven't uploaded some of them. There are a few different ones ranging from the day we got back on English soil to this one.
Here we are in a local pub hanging out with one of the newest Australian additions to the country, Katie B!

We were lucky enough to catch up with Chris & Robyn Maddock in their travels. We went out to a great Italian Restaurant in Knightsbridge. Great catching up with you guys!

Big Ben - I think that is about the 100th time we've gone and seen it!

We went and showed Katie B some of the tourist sites and when we were in Covent Garden, Sarah got picked out of the crowd to help out with a street performer's show. Very funny!

Christmas was in full swing by the time we left London

...what do you think?

Here we're crossing the English Channel on our way back from our Europe Tour

...very windy
